Richard just needs a ride.
Sure, the novelty of flying taxis mingling with the worn familiarity of semi trucks rumbling down the Truckfinity freeway makes him feel more than a little out of place, but he’s felt that way most of his life.
Besides, when you consider the unnamed flier tracking him, or the strange credit card in his pocket, each new quirk of this world he doesn’t recognize seems less and less important. It’s a long road ahead, one he can’t travel alone; he’s too old and tired to wonder about how or why a sedan can fly.
Richard just needs a ride.
